The most useful seating information is the stuff nobody will say to the couple’s face. So we ask for it on your behalf and keep it that way: the two questions about who a guest wants to sit near, and who they’d rather not, are never shown to you. They go straight into the seating and nowhere else.
If the plan can’t honour one, you’re told a table has a conflict, not who asked or about whom. You get a better chart and nobody has an awkward conversation.

Do my guests need an account to RSVP?
No. They tap your link, find their name, and answer three short questions. No sign-up, no password, no app to download.
How much does a seating chart cost?
It depends on the size of the room, and there are only four prices. Up to 200 guests is $20. Up to 300 is $30, up to 400 is $40, and up to 500 is $50. Over 500 we quote by hand. Each is a single payment for one event, not a subscription and not a charge per guest. Building your guest list, crews and rules is free.
Can I move people myself?
Always. Drag anyone onto any chair at any time. Most people let SeatingSorted do the first pass, then adjust a handful of seats by hand. Lock the tables you are happy with and only the rest will move.
What happens if two of my rules contradict each other?
Couples, keep-apart pairs and children-with-an-adult are treated as unbreakable. If you have asked for something impossible, two people who must sit together but are pinned to different tables, we tell you exactly which pair is the problem and what to change, instead of quietly producing a chart that is wrong.
Is there a limit on how many guests I can seat?
Your event is set to the band you paid for. 200, 300, 400 or 500 seats, and the planner holds you to it. If you outgrow your band, email us and we will move you up; we will not charge you for the same event twice. There is no limit on tables.
What happens if RSVPs push me over my band?
Nothing breaks for your guests. A plus-one is never turned away mid-RSVP, because that would make you look broken to the people you invited. Instead your floor plan tells you that you are over and asks you to get in touch, and we will add the seats before you need to run the seating.
Is this only for weddings?
No. Galas, awards dinners, conferences, christenings and reunions all work the same way. Anywhere you have to decide who sits where, and someone will notice if you get it wrong.
Someone dropped out the week before. Now what?
Mark them as not coming and re-seat in one click. Lock the tables you have already settled and only the rest will move. There is no cutoff and no extra charge for re-running it.
Can I print the seating chart?
Yes. You get a print-ready floor plan and a table-by-table guest list, so you can hand one to the venue and pin one by the door.
